Saturn & Neptune in Aries ~ Why 2026 Marks a New Beginning in Fire & Air ✨
2026 marks one of the most powerful astrological turning points of our lifetime. In this episode, I explore why the rare Saturn–Neptune conjunction in Aries, along with Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, and Jupiter in Leo, signals the beginning of brand-new chapters — both collectively and personally.
I share how these sweeping planetary shifts are moving us from slower, inward earth and water energy into fast-moving fire and air, accelerating change, dissolving outdated structures, and inviting us to step into who we are becoming. I also tell a personal story of how this astrology has already reshaped my family rhythms, health, and daily life, offering a real-world look at how these transits unfold.
You’ll learn:
💫 Why Saturn and Neptune meeting at 0° Aries is a big deal
💫 How Uranus in Gemini, Jupiter in Leo & Pluto in Aquarius bring rapid shifts, bold ideas, and creative momentum
💫 How the fire-and-air elemental shift speeds up life and pushes us out of stagnation
💫 Where to look in your own chart to see what part of your life is being rewritten
If life feels like it’s changing faster than you can keep up, this episode will help you understand why — and how to work with the powerful astrology of 2026 instead of feeling overwhelmed by it.

Astrology isn’t just about signs and symbols — it’s a tool for navigating real life.
Hello and welcome to Astrology with Alisa. I’m your host, Alisa Dixon, and I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s dive in.
Hello everyone, and Happy New Year. Welcome to 2026. This is a year that is going to feel a little wild — exciting at times, uncomfortable at times — but perfectly timed for where we are on our soul’s path. This is the energy we are ready for. I’ve heard from some of you recently who feel uneasy about some of the astrology coming up, and I get it.
I’ve been listening to year-ahead forecasts from other astrologers myself. I’ve been having conversations with them behind the scenes, unpacking the themes. And across the board, I keep hearing the same thing: this is a year like no other.
Change is coming fast. There are planetary alignments in 2026 that echo intense periods in history. One in particular hasn’t happened in well over a thousand years, and it’s coming very soon. Saturn and Neptune are meeting at zero degrees of Aries in February. Certain structures in our lives are going to fall apart.
This is a year of big endings and new beginnings. You’re likely to grow into a new version of yourself — so much so that you may not even recognize who you were before. These are the kinds of things astrologers are saying, so I want to pause here and say this:
You’ve got this.
We’ve got this.
We’re all in this together.
Because the only constant in life is change.
A few days ago, I was reminded of something one of my favorite bosses said years ago. I don’t remember his exact words, but it went something like this: Change is hard in the beginning, messy in the middle, but beautiful at the end.
That quote landed differently for me this time because when I look at the astrology of 2026, that’s exactly the story we’re in. Everything really is changing. And yes, that can feel scary — but honestly, it’s also really exciting. This year is giving us permission to disrupt routines that no longer fit, to try new things, to take bold steps with courage, and to ask ourselves an honest question: Is the life I’m living aligned with my true purpose?
And if the answer is no, this is a year that supports realignment — because the energy itself is supporting change.
The outer planets are shifting — all of them. They’re moving from earth and water signs into fire and air signs. Pluto has already moved into Aquarius. In 2026, Neptune moves into Aries, Saturn moves into Aries, Uranus moves into Gemini, and Jupiter moves into Leo. That’s fire, fire, air, fire. And the elements matter.
These outer planets don’t shape day-to-day moods — they shape entire chapters of our lives. The Sun spends about a month in a sign. Jupiter spends about a year. Saturn spends two and a half years. Uranus spends seven. Neptune spends about fourteen. Pluto spends around twenty. Every time one of these planets changes signs, a chapter closes and a new one begins.
But this time, instead of one chapter ending at a time, several chapters are ending all at once. Four outer planets change signs within about six months. That’s rare — and it explains why everything feels like it’s speeding up, why old structures feel unstable, and why it can feel like everything is changing all at once.
We’re also shifting from earth and water into fire and air. Earth and water are slower, internal, and about processing and building. Fire and air are about action and ideas. Momentum builds. Resistance becomes harder to maintain.
We’re already feeling this. Saturn and Neptune are the first wave, moving into Aries. Saturn builds structure. Neptune dissolves. Together, they show us what is no longer sustainable — what has outlived its purpose — so something new can take shape.
This is the hard beginning of change.
Let me give you a real-life example. In my own chart, this Saturn–Neptune alignment is loud. I have my Sun, Venus, and Mars in Aries in my fourth house of home and family. I also have a Capricorn Moon and Capricorn Rising in my first house of self. So as Saturn and Neptune move into Aries, they activate my home life while squaring my sense of self.
And in real life, my family routines are changing dramatically. My son just turned thirteen and started junior high, completely shifting our family rhythm. Over the holidays, we went to Costa Rica, but I got very sick and my son broke two toes at the pool — so we got an unexpected ninth-house experience of urgent care in a foreign country. We came home early, and what was supposed to be fun turned into doctor visits.
That pause showed me something: I had been running myself ragged. Being sick for three weeks forced me to let go of routines I never would have stopped on my own — and now I’m building new ones that actually support my health and my family.
That’s Saturn and Neptune at work.
Then in April, Uranus enters the story. Uranus is the messy middle — the lightning bolt. When we resist change, Uranus feels chaotic. When we allow it, it feels liberating. This year asks us to roll with change and trust that uncertainty does not mean failure.
These planets aren’t here to make life harder. They’re here to move us into alignment — into lives that fit who we are becoming. So if things feel fast, unfamiliar, or like parts of your life are ending, trust it. On the other side, it’s going to be beautiful.
Here in the Astrology with Alisa community, we work with the energies, not against them. I’ll be here week after week, watching the sky and helping you navigate the waves as they show up here on Earth.
That’s the gift of astrology — we get a heads-up so we can make more conscious choices and use the energy in its highest form. Look at where Aries is in your chart. That area of life is where change is unfolding.
Trust the process. You’re ready.
And if you ever feel overwhelmed, I’m always here for one-on-one readings to help you understand your chart and your timing.
And remember: self-care is essential. Your Moon sign shows you how to process emotions and feel safe when life gets intense. If you haven’t already, download my free Moon Sign Self-Care Guide — the link is in the show notes.
As always, I love and appreciate you. Welcome to 2026. We’ve got this. Thank you so much for listening. Take care, and I’ll see you next time. ✨
